PHOENIX -- Dodgers pitcher Alex Wood is in a precarious position, possibly the odd man out of the Dodgers' starting rotation once Hyun-jin Ryu is fully ready to rejoin the staff.
Wood in separate interviews in recent days with Bill Plunkett of the Orange County Register and Andy McCullough of the Los Angeles Times has expressed his desire to remain in the starting rotation.
From Plunkett:
"The expectation is that I’ll be in the rotation and we’ll go from there," he said. "At the end of the day, all I want to do is win so whatever I can do to help the team win I’m going to do.
