The Dodgers after their rousing three-game sweep in San Diego face a quick turnaround before Thursday afternoon's series opener in San Francisco against the rival Giants. It marks the second of three home openers the Dodgers will be involved in in nine days.

But trying to keep the shutout string going on Thursday afternoon will be left-hander Alex Wood, making his first start of the year. He didn't face the Giants after getting acquired by the Dodgers last July 30, but he watched from the dugout during two series and seven games against the Giants, enough to appreciate the rivalry.
