Alex Wood Could Be Good When He Misses Wood

I am a dad gum poet!

Alex Wood has a 1.45 ERA in his last 4 starts and could supplant Brett Anderson as the Dodger’s Number Three Starter. Today will help determine that as Brett Anderson goes for his 9th win. When he misses bats, he is a good pitcher. Of course, so is anyone!

The Dodgers still fail to move and score runners with alarming regularity. I am almost of the belief that it is a systemic problem. The Dodger players are taught to get on base, but not move runners. The Dodgers had 8 hits and yet squandered 27 opportunities to score runners.
