One of the biggest question marks for the 2019 season will be how much playing time Alex Verdugo receives. With A.J. Pollock and Cody Bellinger likely being daily locks, that leaves one spot open in the crowded outfield.
Verdugo, 22, is trying to earn the final starting job. He helped his case on Sunday, going 2-for-3 with two doubles and two runs driven in. For the spring, he’s 6-for-18 with four runs driven in.
LA scored six runs on Sunday, with four of them coming in the third inning.
