Alex Guerrero scratched with left knee soreness

PHOENIX -- Alex Guerrero was scratched from his scheduled Saturday start with left knee soreness, missing the Dodgers' 7-2 win over the Diamondbacks at Camelback Ranch.

Guerrero was to be the starting designated hitter for the Dodgers on Saturday in what would have been his third consecutive start. Instead, catcher Shawn Zarraga started in his place.

Guerrero was 2-for-5 in his two games, with a home run and a double, both hit in Thursday's opener. Guerrero started at third base on Thursday and at designated hitter on Friday.

Though he played more games in left field than third base in 2015, and was signed as a second baseman and played shortstop in Cuba, Guerrero will stick to the hot corner when he plays the field this spring, manager Dave Roberts said earlier this week.
