GOODYEAR — Dodgers first baseman Adrian Gonzalez felt some discomfort near his right elbow on Sunday and will rest a few days, manager Dave Roberts said on Monday.
Gonzalez, who was prohibited from swinging a bat with tendinitis in his right elbow for two weeks earlier in camp, was 0-for-3 in an exhibition game on Sunday against Team Japan, just his fifth game with the Dodgers this spring.
He felt soreness during an at-bat on Sunday.
"He took a check swing, and there was a little something with the same elbow.
