File today's piece of cardboard under "no idea why I own this" but own this I do. I snagged this 1932 Sweetacres Cricketers card of Freddie "F.R." Brown for a dollar at a card show long, long ago. It is in such rough condition that for safety alone slabbing it felt appropriate.
It returned, of course, as a PSA 1. Brown was an English cricket player born in Peru who received an MBE for helping to evacuate troops from Crete during WWII.
Random, but I do love me all vintage by default.
