Yesterday I featured a fun letter written by Walt Disney to former Dodgers GM Buzzie Bavasi (link here). Today, I take a look at a couple other Dodgers related collectibles currently on auction at Paragon.
Above is a 1960 game-used jersey of Dodger great Jim Gilliam (Auction Link Here). As you may know, Gilliam took over at second base for Jackie Robinson, and eventually won the 1953 Rookie of the Year Award. By 1960 he moved over to cover third base for the team. When his playing days were done he stayed with the franchise as a coach, and was considered heavily for the managerial job after Walter Alston.
