CINCINNATI -- The Dodgers and Reds seem to be going in opposite directions after another Los Angeles victory on Sunday. With the 8-7 win, the Dodgers swept Cincinnati for the second time in a week. This marks the ninth loss in a row for the Reds, tying the longest losing streak by a Major League team this season.
Facing an 8-2 deficit in the bottom of the seventh inning, the Reds showed their first signs of life all series. After Tucker Barnhart and Patrick Kivlehan reached base to open the inning, Scooter Gennett came through two batters later with a three-run home run to right field to make it 8-5.
