When the Los Angeles Dodgers unveiled plans to renovate Dodger Stadium, the pavilions and center field area, it was with an intention of having it completed for the 2020 season. That of course was to be the same year the MLB All-Star Game returned to Chavez Ravine.
Plans went by the wayside due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic that prevented fans from attending games last year until the postseason, and also saw MLB delay the Midsummer Classic in Los Angeles to 2022.
After a long year, the Dodgers have welcomed fans back to Dodger Stadium and continued to expand on offerings in the renovated Dodger Stadium center field plaza with each homestand.
