Kyle Farmer had a great start to his 2018 season as he was on the Opening Day roster for the first time in his career. Partially this was due to Justin Turner’s injury late in spring training and Farmer became one Dave Roberts’ choices to start at third base.
Farmer played in 20 games until he was optioned to Oklahoma City on May 14, 2018. Farmer would make a short return in June but outside of that stay, he played for Oklahoma City until he was recalled on September 1, 2018.
