Brett Eibner started at all three outfield spots for the Dodgers in 2017 but his season ended before he could add yet another position.
The Dodgers acquired Eibner from the A’s on Jan. 25 for minor league infielder Jordan Tarsovich, adding outfield depth that could be optioned to the minors.
Eibner hit a ball 465 feet against Tyler Anderson at Coors Field on May 13, the longest home run hit by a Dodger all season.
He was back and forth between Triple-A Oklahoma City and the majors in 2017, spending four different stints with the Dodgers earning 35 total days of major league service time.
