What Happened In 2017: Missed most of the season due to a toe injury and wrist surgery.
——
Rob Segedin, who made his Major League debut with the Dodgers last year, began 2017 with Triple-A Oklahoma City. He received a call-up in mid-April, making it into just two games before being placed on the disabled list with a strained toe.
Although it was Segedin’s toe that originally sidelined him, his progress was further inhibited by bone spurs in his wrist that required surgery in May. That kept him from being able to start rehabbing until late July.
