Tyler Olson was on the Dodgers' 40-man roster for 19 days, and he was in the organization for less than four weeks. But he indirectly contributed to the 2016 team.
What went right
The Dodgers acquired Olson from the Mariners on Dec. 18, 2015 for cash considerations.
Olson was designated for assignment on Jan. 6, 2016 to make room on the 40-man roster for Brandon Beachy, then on Jan. 12 Olson was traded with infielder Ronald Torreyes to the Yankees for minor league corner man Rob Segedin, who contributed to the Dodgers in August and September.
