LOS ANGELES -- The Dodgers with their second selection in the 2015 MLB Draft took right-handed pitcher Kyle Funkhouser out of Louisville, pick No. 35 overall.
This is a supplemental pick between the first and second round, received by the Dodgers when free agent Hanley Ramirez signed with the Red Sox during the winter.
Funkhouser was 8-5 with a 3.20 ERA in 17 starts as a junior in 2015, with 104 strikeouts and 45 walks in 112u2153 innings. He allowed two runs in seven innings on Saturday against Cal State Fullerton in the first game of their super regional matchup, fighting for one of eight berths in the College World Series in Omaha.
