2015 Dodgers review: Yasiel Puig

A look back at the 2015 season for Yasiel Puig, who was essentially rendered an afterthought in his worst major league season to date.

What went right

Even at his absolute major league worst, Puig was an above-average player, hitting .255/.322/.436 with a .328 wOBA, a 109 OPS+ and 111 wRC+.

Against left-handers, Puig hit .279/.380/.544 in 79 plate appearances, with five of his 11 home runs on the season against southpaws.

Puig hit .303/.384/.474 with nine extra-base hits and 10 walks in 21 games in June, his best month of the season.
