A look back at an injury plagued season for Scott Van Slyke, which cut into both his playing time and production in 2015.
What went right
Van Slyke had three home runs and four doubles against left-handers, along with 17 walks against 21 strikeouts, hitting .258/.386/.398 against southpaws.
He hit .295/.359/.491 with four of his six home runs at Dodger Stadium, including a three-run walk-off shot to beat the Marlins on May 11.
The 6'4 Van Slyke again proved versatile in the outfield, mostly in the corners, but also mixing in five innings over three games in center field.
