Ronald Torreyes was an under-the-radar-pickup by the Dodgers essentially for free in 2015, one who could end up paying dividends for a few years.
What went right
The Dodgers acquired Torreyes from the Blue Jays for cash on June 12. It was not hard to see why Toronto dumped him, as he started off the season just 14-for-70 (.200) with a double in Triple-A Fresno, then was just 7-for-50 (.140) with two doubles after getting demoted to Double-A New Hampshire.
