A look back at 2015 for Michael Morse, who was with the Dodgers for one day.
What went right
Morse was acquired from the Marlins in the Dodgers' three-team, 13-player trade on July 30 that also included the Braves. Morse was essentially the shipping and handling cost to get Mat Latos from Miami.
The Dodgers didn't have a roster spot for Morse, and he was designated for assignment once the three-team trade was made.
But even though Morse never actually joined the Dodgers, clubhouse manager Mitch Poole made a number 38 jersey for him in preparation of the deal, and ultimately sent it to Morse.
