A look back at the 2015 of old friend Eric Stults, who returned to the organization that drafted him — in the 15th round in 2002 — but did not find his way on to the Dodgers in 2015.
What went right
The Dodgers acquired Stults as part of the Juan Uribe trade with the Braves on May 27, when Atlanta was in Los Angeles to play the Dodgers. As part of the transaction, Stults — who was on Atlanta's 40-man roster and actually pitched 3u2154 innings of mop-up relief on May 26, the night the trade was being finalized — was designated for assignment by the Dodgers, then he accepted an outright assignment to the minors.
