Rarely do I get a card posted within days of receiving it anymore. However, I had to make an exception for today's featured piece of vintage goodness. My boss consistently raves about the 1910-11 T3 Turkey Red set, so much so that it has become burned into my thoughts of pre-war cards forever. One recent night while browsing eBay I came across the below and added it to my watch list.
As the story so often goes, I didn't expect it to stay anywhere near what I was comfortable with, but it did and I threw out a bid.
