The MLB trade deadline of August 1st is rapidly approaching, and the Los Angeles Dodgers trade rumors are starting to heat up. The Dodgers are 57-45, good for the top wild card spot in the NL. But the Dodgers are trying to find an upgrade or two before the deadline, especially in the rotation. With that in mind, here all the latest Dodgers trade rumors.
Dodgers Still After Jay Bruce?
The Jay Bruce trade rumors are starting to heat up, and the Dodgers are one of the teams in the mix.

LA makes perfect sense as a fit. It's unclear when Andre Either will return, and Joc Pederson is the only must-start in the outfield, since Yasiel Puig has been mentioned in trade rumors. The Dodgers have more than enough prospects to land Bruce and have a solid trade relationship with the Reds. Bruce isn't the only OF the Dodgers are looking at. Update: A 3-team trade is also a possibility.
Dodgers Talking With A's About Reddick, Hill
The Dodgers are looking at both OF and pitching help, which makes the Athletics a perfect trade partner. Both OF Josh Reddick and SP Rich Hill can be had as rentals. ESPN's Buster Olney (Insider) reports the two sides are talking.
The Athletics have talked about pitcher Rich Hill and outfielder Josh Reddick in a possible package together to the Dodgers, and they've talked about them separately. Reddick is generally considered to be the best available outfielder by rival executives, but with Hill, there is enormous uncertainty, because of his blister issue.
And that blister issue is once again a major problem for Hill and it will cost him his Sunday start. That seriously hurts his trade value and it will cause teams to be very hesitant about dealing for him. Hill has been great when healthy the last two years, but has missed too much time with injuries.
