With the MLB Trade Deadline just hours away (1:00 p.m. ET), the Los Angeles Dodgers are one of the three teams that are still in the mix to land Yu Darvish from the Texas Rangers, according to Jim Bowden of SiriusXM Radio.

Bowden also reports that Los Angeles is trying to get Alex Claudio from the Rangers along with Darvish.

Of those three, the Dodgers figure to be in the lead given the quality prospects they can offer Texas.
Darvish is set to be a free agent after the season, and as such, the Rangers seem to be motivated to move him. However, they expect to be able to re-sign him on the open market this offseason, which has teams hesitant about sending top prospects to Texas for him.
Darvish is 6-9 with a 4.01 ERA and 148 strikeouts in 22 starts this season.
