The MLB trade deadline of August 1st is rapidly approaching, and the Los Angeles Dodgers trade rumors are starting to heat up. The Dodgers are 53-43, good for the top wild card spot in the NL. But the Dodgers are likely to try to find an upgrade or two before the deadline, especially on the rotation. With that in mind, here all the latest Dodgers trade rumors.
Dodgers "Big-Game Hunting?"
The Dodgers aren't looking for minimal upgrades this trade deadline. Instead, they're looking for big-name additions.
#Dodgers are "Big Game Hunting,'' says a rival exec. They're looking for impact moves, not incremental upgrades.

The next three names in this roundup certainly fit that bill.
Dodgers To Land Chris Archer?
Archer isn't having his best season, but he's still an ace pitcher. The Dodgers have a good chance at landing him.
Exec from team that's been talking with the Rays says he sees such a good fit with Dodgers, places odds at "70 pct" Chris Archer lands in LA

Despite the closeness between Dodgers' president of baseball operations Andrew Friedman and the Rays' front office, it will be expensive for the Dodgers to land Archer. He's as young, talented pitcher under team control for several more years. Other Rays' pitchers, like Matt Moore and Jake Odorizzi could also be options. With the pitching injury woes the Dodgers are dealing with, it'd be a major surprise if they didn't add a pitcher before the deadline.
L.A. Looking At OF Help?
According to Jon Heyman, the Dodgers are looking at two big-name outfielders at the deadline.
The Los Angeles Dodgers are looking hard for a bat as well as an arm, and seem to be in win-now mode. While they are expected to at least talk about Carlos Gonzalez, they are expecting the price to be quite high. Jay Bruce remains a possibility, as well, and probably a much more likely one.
Bruce is firmly on the block and the Dodgers make sense as a destination. CarGo could be a bit harder to land, as he'll likely cost more than Bruce. Both players would add some power in the corner outfield.
