Hill did stay in the game for two innings before being removed, and he was taken to the hospital as a precautionary measure. X-rays were negative and he was released shortly thereafter.
"I thought it was bad,'' Cody Bellinger told reporters after the game about the injury. "I saw him grab his throat so I didn't know what to expect but I'm glad he is all right.''
Hill was given the loss after allowing two runs on five hits in six innings of work. He is now 8-4 on the season with a 3.44 ERA and 107 strikeouts in 17 starts this season.
