It may not be Cole Hamels who the Los Angeles Dodgers have in mind while embarking on this current talent-hoarding mission:
Asked a rival executive if he thought #Dodgers’ endgame was Hamels. He replied, “Price.” Unlikely they will stop with this deal.

According to FOX Sports' Jon Morosi, the three-way deal between the Dodgers, Braves and Marlins is close to being consummated:
#Dodgers, #Marlins, #Braves 3-team deal now nearing completion, source says.

The Los Angeles Dodgers' reported acquisition of Mat Latos and Michael Morse from the Miami Marlins this morning could bring with it yet another starting pitcher and a relieveer if a reported three-way agreement with the Atlanta Braves is completed.
Via Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports:
#Braves lefty Alex Wood would go to #Dodgers if three-team deal with #Marlins is completed, sources tell me and @jonmorosi.

So, if deal goes through, #Dodgers could end up with Latos and Wood for their rotation and Jim Johnson for their bullpen.

Per Rosenthal, there is no word just yet on which Dodgers prospects will be shipped off if the agreement comes to fruition:
What we do not know: The prospects that the #Dodgers would give up, and how they would be distributed to #Marlins and/or #Braves.

Wood, 24, is 7-6 this year with a 3.54 and 1.41 WHIP. The 6-4 lefty projects to be a career #2 or #3 starter according to most scouting outlets and could very well be a centerpiece of a potential Cole Hamels deal before Friday's deadline.
Johnson, 32, has made a major turnaround after a disastrous 2014 campaign, pitching to a 2.25 ERA in 48 innings (49 appearances) for the Braves this year. He could also be marked as a trade chip in the Dodgers' pursuit of either Hamels or Tigers ace David Price.
