The Los Angeles Dodgers have acquired Tony Watson from the Pittsburgh Pirates, according to Jon Heyman of FanRag Sports.

Los Angeles had placed an emphasis on trying to upgrade their bullpen before the trade deadline, but did not want to part with many of their top prospects in order to get a deal done. They had shown heavy interest in Zach Britton of the Baltimore Orioles, but this may take them out of the running for him.
Watson, who will be a free agent this offseason, has a 3.66 ERA with 10 saves, 35 strikeouts and a 1.52 WHIP in 46.2 innings in 47 appearances this year.
