If you missed it (not sure how that's possible) Dodgers phenom Yasiel Puig smacked a grand slam with one out in the 8th inning yesterday to lead the Dodgers to a 5-0 win over the Braves. In four games, Puig is now 7-for-16 with three home runs and nine RBI. Oh and a 1.063 slugging percentage. Here's his slam from last night. Vin Scully's call is, as always, incomparable.
The Dodgers have now won three of their last four games after scuffling through a dismal 10-17 month of May, with many a cry for manager Don Mattingly's job. Enter Puig. Boom, everyone loves everything about the Dodgers again.
