The Los Angeles Dodgers were initially pegging reliever Chris Withrow for a potential late-season return in 2015, but delayed rehab from Tommy John surgery might push his return farther out and into 2016.
Per Mark Saxon of ESPN Los Angeles, "Withrow’s rehabilitation from Tommy John surgery to his right elbow is on hold because of December back surgery, muddying his return date further, Withrow said Saturday at FanFest."

Withrow's remaining optimistic, despite what is likely to be a frustrating prognosis for the time being.
"Do I think I’ll pitch this year? Yeah, there’s a possibility,” Withrow said. “When that is, I don’t know. It’s going to be on my body to tell me when I’m ready.
“One day I’ll feel great, and the next day I won’t feel very good,” Withrow added. “It’s been like that ever since the surgery.”
Withrow, 25, broke into the Majors in 2013 and has posted a sterling 2.73 ERA in 1.089 WHIP in 46 MLB games.
