The Dodgers would like to add relief pitching, but their biggest need is for starting pitching. According to Fox Sports' Ken Rosenthal, LA could land "multiple starters" at the deadline:
Dodgers acquire two minor leaguers from Braves
The Dodgers announced that they have acquired two minor leaguers ,outfielder Jordan Paroubeck and right-handed pitcher Caleb Dirks, from the Atlanta Braves in exchange for an international bonus slot that is worth $249K.
Paroubeck hit .286/.346/.457 in 157 plate appearances with the Padres’ Rookie-league affiliate last year, while Dirks has amassed a 1.53 ERA in 59 pro innings, averaging 10.1 K/9 and 4.1 BB/9 in that small sample.
