Jawun Evans has played a grand total of eight minutes in two preseason games for the Los Angeles Clippers. With other young guards getting minutes over him, the writing may be on the wall for Evans.
In those eight minutes, Evans has scored two points, assisted on three plays, grabbed one rebound and picked up four personal fouls. That is not the ideal state line for a young player fighting for a final roster spot.
The depth of the Clippers guard position is well documented. Even if he does manage to make the team, Evans will only see the court in garbage time minutes or if the team is decimated by injury.
