ORLANDO – In their first ever game of their first ever trip to the Southwest Airlines Orlando Pro Summer League, the Los Angeles Clippers took part in a thrilling overtime matchup but ultimately came up one point short.
Mario Hezonja of the Orlando Magic’s Blue team connected on a 3-point shot with 12.9 seconds left in overtime to push the score to 75-74, and that proved to be the final margin once the horn sounded.
Head coach Brendan O’Connor’s team played a hard fought game after getting down by 16 points in the first quarter.
