Free agent center Willie Reed has reached an agreement with the LA Clippers, league sources tell ESPN.
The 6-11 shot blocker has agreed to a one-year, $1.5 million pact, sources say.
Reed, 27, appeared in 71 games last season for the Miami Heat and averaged 5.3 points and 4.7 rebounds. Despite only playing 14.5 minutes a game as the backup to Hassan Whiteside, he blocked nearly a shot per contest. He has a career field-goal mark of 57 percent.
The athletic big man also had interest from the Golden State Warriors.
