The Anthony Davis fiasco has been going on for some time now — the six-time All-Star first requested a trade from the New Orleans Pelicans way back in January, and after five months, it feels like hardly anything has changed. The Los Angeles Lakers are still considered to be the best available destination, although they’ve had troubles getting a deal completed. That seems to have extended to the LA Clippers as well, as rumors say they’ve been unable to gain traction on a deal.
On Wednesday afternoon, ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski first reported that the Lakers and Boston Celtics were both engaged with the Pelicans in regards to a Davis trade.
