Rivers Looking For Better Pace, Trust

PLAYA VISTA, Calif. – Head coach Doc Rivers isn’t pointing straight to defense as the sole culprit in a 124-103 loss.

At times in Game 5, Rivers didn’t recognize what the Clippers were running offensively. It’s that side of the ball that he hopes his group regains its trust and rhythm in Game 6.

“I didn’t like our offense at all,” Rivers said. “That wasn’t the team I’ve gotten accustomed to watching. I didn’t think we trusted at all.”

A lot of the uncharacteristic 41.8 percent shooting from the floor and 25.
