Doc Rivers has revealed eye-opening, undisclosed details of the Los Angeles Clippers' free-agent meeting at his house with Kawhi Leonard and how the team approached it.
Rivers, in an interview with the Los Angeles Times, says the Clippers -- knowing "that Oklahoma City wanted to break their team up" -- provided Leonard with a list of players to choose from.
And it included Paul George.
"Which was a mistake, but we got lucky," Rivers told the Times. "We shouldn't have had a list, because then he got to choose who he wanted to play with.
