MILWAUKEE – J.J. Redick spent part of his senior year in college trying to disprove the notion of “being in the zone” for a statistics class.
He determined that no matter how he felt, it didn’t affect the makes or misses – that “the zone” was more of a myth than a state of being.
After Wednesday’s 109-95 Clippers victory over the Milwaukee Bucks, there might be new evidence to consider.
Redick caught fire in the second half, making 8-of-10 in scoring a season-high 31 points.
The hot shooting came after Redick went 4-for-17 in his first six quarters since coming back from a sprained right ankle, and it came right when the Clippers’ needed it.
