LOS ANGELES – J.J. Redick gave his thoughts on the conference final matchups Thursday night, joining Sage Steele, Jalen Rose and Doug Collins on the set of ESPN’s “NBA Countdown.”
Redick’s media obligations have grown with his own podcast for “The Vertical,” but Thursday took it to a new level as he appeared on both “NBA Countdown” and on the latest episode of the “Garbage Time with Katie Nolan” podcast for Fox Sports.
On “NBA Countdown,” Redick joined the crew before the Eastern Conference Finals game between the Cavaliers and Pacers and broke down the ways Cleveland beat Toronto in Game 1, including the plays that worked, why they worked, the individual matchups and starting lineup changes.
