The announcement was made today, with Lawler the only inductee for his work in radio. Clippers fans have grown accustomed to hearing his "Lawlerisms", as phrases such as "Bingo" and "fasten your seat-belts" have become a big part of Clippers culture. With the recent run of success, the team has enjoyed a spotlight as a nationally covered team, which has probably lead to this long overdue recognition.
