PLAYA VISTA, Calif. – Banter back and forth between the Clippers and Warriors is nothing new, but this time Doc Rivers felt misinterpreted.
As the Clippers get set to see the Warriors for the first time this year in their preseason game Tuesday night at STAPLES Center, Rivers clarified his comments he made to Grantland about luck playing a role in winning the West, which apparently didn’t sit well with some of the Warriors, including Klay Thompson.
“I’m going to give Klay and his whole team the benefit of the doubt on that,” Rivers said.
