Power Rankings Watch: Where Do The Clippers Stand After Week One?

Aren’t Saturday nights supposed to be fun? Despite looking borderline unbeatable after taking down the crosstown rival Lakers in game one then souring the opening to a new arena in San Francisco against the Warriors, the Clippers laid an absolute dud against a Suns team that was without two starters. Yes, the Suns look like a completely different team so far this season (credit to Monty Williams) but the Clips looked as though they took them lightly — playing a sloppy, incoherent game that was every bit as frustrating to watch as I’m sure it was to play in.
