Paul George and Clippers agree to contract extension

Wow. Paul George wasn’t kidding. The other day during media week, George said he wanted to retire a Clipper. It looks like he very well might do that.

On Thursday, ESPN reported that George and the Clippers had agreed to a contract extension worth... quite a bit of money, to say the least. George had a player option for the 2021-2022 season that will now be replaced with the four-year extension, which includes a new player option for the 2024-25 season

The Clippers are extending George’s contract for an additional four years, $190M on top of the $35.
