It took three games but the Los Angeles Clippers have won their first game in the Orlando Pro Summer League, defeating the Oklahoma City Thunder, 80-63.
Following a trend set in the previous two games, the three stars in tonight’s performance were C.J. Wilcox, Nate Wolters, and Branden Dawson, who replaced forward Royce White in the starting lineup.
After a first quarter where the shooting guard forced looks (shot 3-8 in the Q), Wilcox eventually settled down in the offense, scoring 15 points on 4-9 shooting (3-4 from three) in quarters two through four.
