Jamal Crawford made history Friday, becoming one of the top 100 all-time scorers in NBA history.
Crawford needed seven points to pass Juwan Howard and move into the elusive group and finished with nine. Head coach Doc Rivers joked about how he figured Crawford was already on the list, but he knows the feat Crawford accomplished is special.
“That’s pretty impressive,” Rivers said. “When you think about a guy that high and he’s come off the bench 98 percent of his career, it’s pretty impressive.”
Crawford is one of 16 active players on the top 100 list, including teammate Paul Pierce.
