Los Angeles Clippers trade of DeAndre Jordan to Cavaliers talks stalled

With the future of the current iteration of the Los Angeles Clippers up in the air, it comes as no surprise to see offers popping up. According to Sam Amick of USA Today Sports, the Cleveland Cavaliers offered the Los Angeles Clippers a trade for center DeAndre Jordan.

The trade, which the Clippers reportedly were not interested in, centered around Jordan, several Cavaliers’ players and their 2018 first round draft pick. The Cavaliers’ players include Tristan Thompson and JR Smith, both of which have high value contracts.

Thompson is currently signed through 2020 and is making around $18 million each year.
