Jamal Crawford and Pablo Prigioni represented the Los Angeles Clippers at 93rd Street Elementary School in Watts Friday after practice, handing out gifts and books to about 100 students.
In September, the Los Angeles Clippers Foundation re-launched and partnered with City Year Los Angeles to support 5 schools in Watts. ClipperBlog was at the Opening Day announcement as well as Friday’s event at 93rd Street Elementary.
Clippers players Austin Rivers, Branden Dawson, Luc Richard Mbah a Moute, and C.J. Wilcox also participated with City Year Los Angeles at a similar event at Figueroa Street Elementary School and Compton Avenue Elementary School.
