Well, so much for no drama around the trade deadline. Last night, during a season ticket holders event, Jerry West, alongside Lawrence Frank, spoke on the Blake Griffin deal, Lou Williams getting an extension and the lack of noise on the DeAndre Jordan front for the Los Angeles Clippers.
The DeAndre situation is now drawing interest after West revealed that the team tried to extend DJ just as they did Lou Williams.
Through an official transcript of last night’s events we obtained, we can see that Jerry West said the following:
“The Clippers offered DeAndre [Jordan] an extension, so it is not like we were discarding him, period…He did not accept it, which is fine, and he now has an agent.
