There’s a possibility of sunny days in the near future for the LA Clippers. There are many signs suggesting that 2014 Finals MVP, Kawhi Leonard, is considering leaving the Toronto Raptors this summer to sign with LAC. This would be a huge move for the Clippers. It would conclude the post-Lob City rebuild era and mark the beginning of the team’s title chase.
While signing Leonard would make the team perennial playoff contenders, they would need more in order to bring home their first championship.
Sam Amick of The Athletic reports that the Clippers are hoping to not only sign Leonard, but to also sign Kevin Durant in free agency.
