According to Chris Haynes, the LA Clippers have signed ex-Heat big man Willie Reed. Reed’s contract will be just one year for $1.5 million. This is great value, even though the deal is just for the one season.
The signing of Reed gives the team more depth at the big man position. With Blake Griffin’s health being an uncertainty heading into the start of the season, the Clips needed to add some big men to the bench. Prior to this signing, the team only had Brice Johnson and Montrezl Harrell to back up both Griffin and DeAndre Jordan.
