The L.A. Clippers have re-signed restricted free agent center Ivica Zubac, it was announced today by President of Basketball Operations, Lawrence Frank. Per team policy, terms of the agreement were not released.
Zubac, 22, appeared in 26 games for the Clippers last season, averaging 9.4 points, 7.7 rebounds and 1.5 assists in 20.2 minutes. L.A. acquired the 7’1”, 240-pound Croatian center from the Los Angeles Lakers on Feb. 7. Selected with the 32nd overall pick in the 2016 NBA Draft by the Lakers, Zubac came to the NBA after playing one professional season in the Croatian A-1 League and one professional season in the Serbian KLS League.
